Hi! I really loved this game! I wish I can help you with translation into Russian as a volunteer, how can I reach you?

(+1)

so this was my first dabble into the visual novel genre of horror and honestly it was brilliant, loved the story, the art style was amazing, and the built up to the reveal of the realtor house was brilliant great game!, gameplay above if you enjoy be sure to hit that sub button thanks guys!

Unique concept and very well written. Great work!

Hey, will u ever have a mac ver of ur games? i love them and used to play on a win computer but now I have a mac.

(+1)

I really want to, but i apparently need to own a mac to be able to export for Mac :'( maybe someday though!

😊👍

question, what does name your price mean? just wondering.

It means you could download it for free, or you can choose to support the developer with a price of your choice. If you click on the download button it should open a window where it'll let you decide.

oh thank you :)

I'm really, really looking forward to the Russian translation of this beautiful game ^^

This is decent! I enjoy the twist and the pacing. The character is fairly unique. The idea of a pushy real estate agent that has something to hide certainly adds to the creep factor as someone who had to deal with a real estate agent recently. I also like the art and the backgrounds, which aid its surrealist aura. Maison's strange mien contributes to the phantasmagoric feel of the whole experience.

My complaints are relatively small ones. They mostly revolve around the prose. I would suggest looking into an editor if you do not have one already. As a game, it functions perfectly fine. As a piece of writing, there are quite a few grammatical errors (I noticed maybe two instances of improper apostrophes for instance; "look's" when used as a verb should not have an apostrophe—that makes it possessive). The tenses also occasionally switch from past to present—"you make sure," present, followed by "you really wanted," past tense.

I would be remiss to criticize the voice of it, as this is a visual novel; voice is never the appeal. I would suggest, though, putting more verbs in perfect tense rather than imperfect: instead of "he seemed to be struggling," "he seemed to struggle"—or "it was sounding more and more fishy" to "it sounded more and more fishy"—though "it sounded fishier," would work better, since "fishy" has a comparative form.

None of these points ruin the experience, to be sure. Continue working on this series! You have a great thing going here that clearly resonates with people.

Hi! Really loved this one and John Doe+
(+2)(-1)

Damnit, now i simp for both John Doe AND Maison. I think imma go crazy but i love it! Like this was so well made! maybe we get like a house hunted+ in the future with ifykyk (nothing sexual :sob:) , nawwwhh jk

unless...

but i really love these types of games, or just these games, and i wish i can see more of these, this is really special and i will forever cherish these games in my heart! Sorry for my bad english btw.

(+3)

Hi! Really loved this one and John Doe+! This really makes me want more games like this!  (maybe one day House Hunted+ with extra smooching action?? Asking for uhhhhh a friend)

(+9)

I'm planning a series of shorts first with different inhabitants of the valley, but I do have a plan to put every short game made into one big game with new endings and branches so this is very within the range of possibities >w<

what ai did you use for the backrounds?

Neuralblender !

This was a great addition to the Uncanny Valley series; the art style is once again incredible, I really enjoyed playing through this game and it definitely felt to be in the same universe as John Doe.

I enjoyed searching out all the endings, each ending felt very intuitive on the steps you needed to reach it; such as the difference between the 2 living endings being the place you need to be standing when refusing to go into the house.

Even with the small bug with the 'straight to the apartments' path (Which I'm glad to see you've managed to fix) it didn't subtract from my overall enjoyment of the game. For a second I thought the card being in my pocket before meeting Maison was intentional, and he had performed some creeper #1relator magic to slip it to me without me knowing.

Good job on the game; I'm looking forward to the next addition to this series!

(+4)(-1)

So rad. You guys make an amazing team-- this was another great foray into the "Uncanny Valley". The art is superb as always, the music is super catchy, and the characters are intriguing. I managed to get all 4 endings in my "No Commentary" playthrough. I'll post it here in case anyone needs help getting them all.

(+2)(-1)

GOT ALL THE ENDINGS, YAY. Anyways, I really liked this game, it had a slightly different vibe from John Doe but it was still pretty darn enjoyable and I liked how it expanded on the Uncanny Valley Universe. I look forward to seeing what else the creator has in store for us!

(+2)(-1)

Nice and unsettling. uwu

So far I've gotten 3 endings; Doe Eyed, Checked In, and House Warming. Remaining one is eluding me.

(+3)(-2)

I just finished playing the game and managed to get all 4 endings! “House Warming” being my first one hjvhb, I had an absolute blast playing through this game, each ending was intriguing! I was very excited when a certain familiar “someone” had made a small cameo as well during one of the endings! All in all, I loved it! Looking forward to getting to play more games from you in the future!💗

(+2)(-1)

This game was really cool. I wasn't expecting the ending I got.

(+6)(-1)

heya, fox ! just wanted 2 ask if the 4th ending was achievable ? a friend and i r playing it currently, and we noticed that if we just go straight 2 the apartment complex, maisons card is already in ur pocket for some reason, though You hasnt met him before.

other than that, its a super duper pretty game and we r loving the worldbuilding thats going in2 the valley >:] i cant wait 2 see more !!

(1 edit) (+5)

workin on fixing that bug x_x idk WHY its doing that but its frustrating the hell outta me cause i cant seem to find a cause. the variables are all solid so ill have to go and look through and see

ive seen people getting all 4 endings, so they all still work, but i think this little bug is causing some trouble if you keep replaying the game

(+2)

i see, ill keep peekin around and seeing if i can get the proper ending B]

its genuinely no trouble, if i were 2 try 2 make a game in the same amt of time itd probably be riddled with errors JDDMGKSKG plus didnt u say on twit this was the first time uve played arnd with this engine ? /genq

either way its really impressive and im super excited 2 learn more abt this silly lil place >:]]

(+1)

i just fixed the bug! youll have to redownload though, im so sorry dsfhjdsf everything should be totally solid tho now

thank you for playing it though ;w;

its chill ! i ended up just reopening the game and got the last ending pretty much immediately /lh

it was really fun !! ill probably make some art later >:]

thank you for making it ! i know u probably get comments like this all the time, but these little games are super inspiring and ill be on the edge of my seat waiting 4 more ! ill def be checking out ur other projects while i wait >:]

(+2)

ah thank you, you letting me know that closing the game reset it actually helped me learn something about the way variables work in this program O: this would mean that system variables will stay even when you close it and regular ones will stay until you turn the game off all the way huh

thank you ! i look forward to the next installment too >w<

(+2)(-1)

maison my beloved <3

Fun demo, can't wait for more :D

(+3)(-1)

man oh man! i like this small city lol good game dude!

(1 edit) (+5)(-1)

I haven't been able to find more than two endings so far BUT!!!! It's still an AWESOME game, and I'm sure there's probably more to see! It's really cool getting to see more about the Uncanny Valley! It seems to me that a few of the different choices serve as worldbuilding, and I think that's very interesting! John Doe lovers, you should really try this out ^-^

EDIT!!!
I SAW THE OTHER TWO ENDINGS OMG!!!! I think Doe Eyed and Offer Accepted are my favorites!

(1 edit) (+3)(-1)

Fun addition to the 'John Doe' universe. I liked seeing the branching out of the universe like this, but it's still catchy and fun as it's own content for Uncanny Valley, and makes me want to learn even more about the locations these characters live and exist in, and the rules of its universe. Fun game, would recommend to anyone who liked John Doe

(2 edits) (+4)(-1)

Loved seeing more of the Uncanny Vally!

I also loved seeing Doe again!

I do wish Mason had given us a more complete tour of the house before killing us. (Maybe he only had the one clean room lol)

But I do wonder about the gentleman in the suit we spotted. A future game perhaps?

*love growl*

I almost died of happiness, I screamed, grabbed my heart and almost died ...

Thank you very much, very much.

I was so glad I almost died, uuuh🦊💕💕

( To avoid spoilers)

( From the first time I went to "Doe eyed" ...

God, you have no idea how I screamed when I saw him, I didn't think I would react like that!

...This is already serious... I love him (////), so much that I rejoice when I see him...

Oh, it has always been like this, hehehehe🦊💕💕 )

(+3)(-1)

im so excited for someone to post themselves playing all the routes so i can watch it! i love your work so much!! keep it up and thank you for making this ^^

(+4)(-1)

Such a weird place to live, i love it.

😭 that variable is really annoying me, i have messed with the programming so many times now and i cant figure out why its glitching like that. Ill try to fix that tho! Im so sorry i thought it was working when i play tested it x.x

(2 edits) (+1)(-1)

Okay, I thought it was just me having that problem, lol You pretty much made the game alone in 3 days, something is bound to have slipped through.

(Although not going to lie, breaking the game because you already have his contact information does bemuse me. 'You' jumped the gun there sweetie, calm down and let him introduce himself first lol)

(+1)

i think i know what it is OTL

this is my first time using tyrannobuilder as the engine and apparently when it takes you to the title, its been keeping all the variables instead of resetting for god know why, so im currently working on fixing that issue with manual script.

(+1)

Makes sense, makes sense. Growing pains are growing pains but you're doing great so far~! Redownloaded, and it plays through great, and it's now 4/4 complete. Thanks for making such neat games!

excellent work as always, though im a bit sad that (using the read more to hide spoilers)

there's no ending where we get to live in maison, he really is a beautiful house

(+3)(-1)

omg yes i felt the same way ;(

(+8)(-1)

I like to think if you met him when he wasnt as hungry, that option would be much more obtainable

(+3)(-1)

Ooooh that nice nice.

(+2)(-1)

poor guyyy ;w;

(+2)(-1)

The game is great! So far I've got 2 endings and I really like the visuals, music and ect. For a game made in 3 days it's really cool! Mason is an intresting character and he kinda creeps me out and I love that! So all I can say is that the game is 10/10, I recomend it very much!

Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a Youtuber. If you like my videos, please leave a like and subscribe at my channel.

This was a cool horror game about an interesting encounter with a realtor and finding out more about the secrets that the realtor is hiding. I enjoyed the short playthrough of the game and was wondering if it was possible to escape from the realtor at the end of my playthrough. Would be cool if there was more decision-making involved to add more variety to the gameplay and a longer story to have more horrifying events happening in the game to enhance player experience. (I liked the fact that the ending was called house warming XD. It was definitely really warm there...)

Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.
