OMG, I'm so damn excited! I didn't wait for its release for more than a year, like some others, but it's still a small event for me, considering the emotions that even the demo version, as well as the fandom of this game, were able to bring me. I love the characters and the action of the demo (before the hospital) this is probably one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had in 2024 (and I don't remember what happened in 2023 lol, so I have nothing to compare it to). Maya is so cute, I love her :3
Also, I don't want to say that the hospital is bad, it's just... Quite alarming. But I think that's exactly the feeling it should evoke. Besides, when I recently replayed the demo, streaming it for my friend, I wasn’t as anxious as the last time. Although, mentally, I didn’t want to go back there. Well, again, this is only a plus of this location, because it’s great when the player feels exactly the same as the character he plays for. So, I can definitely praise the music and visuals because they do a great job of creating the right atmosphere.
Speaking of the main character. I've seen criticism of Randall from some people in the Russian community that he's annoying and unrealistic. Well... Bro literally me, hahaha. And this is usually the reason why I hate characters, because I hate seeing myself in them and immediately noticing all the flaws in my character and behavior. But this is not the case. I love Randall, he's a sweet guy. And I also love to see myself in it. It's therapeutic when I see him happy walking with Maya or terribly awkward around Tate(>:3). His traumas and problems are also very relatable.
Aaaand this comment already seems too huge for a game that hasn't been released yet, lol, so I should stop X3
I can't wait to write a full review haha! I've already passed all the exams and graduation rehearsals don't bother me much, so a whole night of gaming and getting my impressions of the game awaits me!
